Playground Design Consultation

Sally is passionate about the need for accessible, inclusive and developmentally beneficial playgrounds in pre-schools, schools and community settings. She has been involved in the selection of playground equipment and the sensory garden design for a special school, responsible for the design and project coordination of a sensory garden and ‘strength and skill’ playground for a local primary school, and a consultant on a large playground project in south-east Melbourne.

Sally often liaises with the schools and pre-schools of her clients to help answer questions about their playground design and provides advice on how to create play spaces that fully support the needs and development of all children.

Kompan 'Day of Play'

Sally was a speaker at the Kompan ‘Day of Play’ seminar in Melbourne in March 2019; speaking on the topic “Playground design: the importance of considering the motor and sensory needs of the modern child”.
